Urban Decay Naked 3

AH! This is my beloved Urban Decay Naked 3 palette! I highly recommend this one to anyone and everyone. This is my absolute favorite eyeshadow palette! It’s absolutely gorgeous – expensive at $54, but completely worth the money!

You can create a really pretty natural look or bump it up to a smoky evening/night look as well!

This palette is full of all rosy, pink toned hues. The packaging is a nice, sturdy, snap case.

It’s overall great for travel, and especially nice for those with green or hazel eyes! The shades will really make your eyes pop!

The palette comes with a double sided eyeshadow brush that has a rose gold handle. One side is a flat brush, perfect for packing on color on the lid, highlighting under the brow bone, or using the tip of the brush to smudge a darker shade into the lash line as eyeliner. The other side of the brush is fluffy, good for blending out shades through the socket line.

The palette has 12 shades. 3 of which are matte. The levels of shimmer differ depending on each shade!

Strange: a matte white with a pink undertone.

Dust: a pressed light pink glitter. I suggest applying this over the top of darker shades.

Limit: light matte rose

Burnout: a shimmery peachy pink

Buzz: shimmery purple toned pink

Trick: antique rose gold shade

Nooner: dark matte rose

Liar: shimmery rosy brown

Factory: shimmery chocolate brown

10 Mugshot: shimmery rosy taupe

11 Darkside: shimmery charcoal-gray

12 Blackheart: black eyeshadow with red shimmer

You can create a diverse range of looks using the palette. I decided to do both a “day time” and a “night time” appropriate look.

For Day Time…

How I did it:

Packed “Burnout” on my eyelid.

Blended “Limit” through the crease, concentrating most of the color on my outer corner.

Applied “Strange” to my brow bone and inner corner of my eye.

Blended “Trick” on my upper lash line and on the outer corner of my lower lash line.

Lined the outer half of my upper lash line with “Factory” extending the line out a bit, creating a wing effect.

Applied one coat of a volumizing mascara to my upper lashes, and a light application of mascara to my lower lashes.

To complete my look I just used tinted moisturizer, filled in my eye brows, added some bronzer and some chapstick!

For Night Time…

How I did it:

“Buzz” on my lid.

Blended “Nooner” through the crease.

Deepened the outer corner of the crease with a mix of “Liar” and “Factory.”

Smudged “Factory” into my lower lash line.

Mixed together “Strange” & “Dust” for my inner corner highlight, as I wanted some shimmer there.

Placed “Strange” on my brow bone.

Lined my upper lash line with a black liquid eyeliner, and did a small flick on the outer bit there.

Added two coats of mascara on my upper lashes and one coat on my lower.
To complete the look… I filled in my brows, used a full coverage liquid foundation, some bronzer as contour, and a mix between two lipsticks from the Drug Store in a brightening pink shade.

This is such a good palette and worth the investment. It’s my absolute favorite Urban Decay palette, and I hope you guys enjoyed my two looks I created with it! 🙂

Thanks for reading, beauties! XXX
